Recently, the EU Commission released their 20 principles fundamental to the ‘European Pillar of Social Rights’.
The European Pillar of Social Rights is about delivering new and more effective rights for citizens. They can be conceptualised into three distinct, yet interconnected, categories taking into account social rights exercised on a daily basis:
- Equal opportunities and access to the labour market
- Fair working conditions
- Social protection and inclusion
