Pet travel to Europe after Brexit
GOV.UK have produced guidelines regarding the rules for pet travel after Brexit in any scenario (whether that may be a deal or a no-deal). Importantly, to make sure your pet is able to travel from the UK to the EU after 29 March 2019 in any scenario, you should contact your vet at least 4 months before travelling to get the latest advice.
The key bits of information you need in ensuring the right of passage for your pet include:
- Proof of microchip
- Rabies vaccination
- Blood test result alongside their pet’s health certificate.
For more information about the procedure you must undergo, alongside other dates and times to consider, read the GOV.UK advice page HERE.
